Ihor Terekhov: We subsidize our municipal enterprises so that they pay wages to employees on time

This was announced today, January 26, during a national TV-marathon by Kharkiv Mayor Ihor Terekhov. 

According to him, the percentage of payments for utilities is currently 40.7%. 

‘Compared to last year, this is a big reduction, but people are returning to the City and paying for heating, water supply, and rent, so the situation is leveling off a bit,’ said Ihor Terekhov.

The Mayor said that the utilities need funds for repairs, elimination of defects caused by water hammer, power outages, etc.

‘Nowadays, the utility companies have no wage arrears and have a certain reserve of materials that they use in emergency situations,’ said Ihor Terekhov.
