Igor Terekhov: We are preparing for the heating season almost around the clock

According to him, in order to implement a decentralised system of heat, water and power supply, Kharkiv is actively installing modular boiler houses and cogeneration units.

‘I am grateful to the government, which, on behalf of the President, has allocated UAH 2 billion for this purpose. In addition, we cooperate with international financial institutions, which also allocate funds for the purchase of the necessary equipment. We face many challenges because Kharkiv does not have its own power generation. To get through the heating season with heat, water and electricity supply, we need to do everything from scratch,’ said Igor Terekhov.
