Ihor Terekhov: Decentralisation of city life support systems is a forever project

The decentralisation of heat, power and water supply systems in Kharkiv will help create a so-called «energy island».
Mayor Igor Terekhov said this in an interview with «Ukrainian Radio. Kharkiv».
He noted that this is the first implementation of the decentralisation of life support systems project in Ukraine. By the end of the year, 141 installations need to be installed in the city to ensure that the heating season goes smoothly.
«This system will remain in Kharkiv forever. It will allow the city not to depend on a number of factors and will help regulate certain tariffs. Now the city authorities are actively working to ensure that Kharkiv residents are provided with all utilities and that we get through the difficult winter with dignity», - said Igor Terekhov.
The full interview with the mayor of the city will be published on «Ukrainian Radio. Kharkiv’ will be broadcast on Suspilne's platforms today, 23 August, starting at 17:45.
