Green technologies and modernization - how Kharkiv residents see their city rebuilding

The majority of Kharkiv respondents believe that the city's reconstruction can take longer, but with the mandatory introduction of green, energy-saving technologies and modernization to be economically viable in the future.
This idea was supported by 69% of Kharkiv residents who took part in the 9th in-depth study of local government in Ukraine.
At the same time, 17% of respondents believe that reconstruction should begin as soon as possible, which means restoring facilities without modernization.
The survey was conducted by the Rating Sociological Group on behalf of the Center for Analysis and Sociological Research of the International Republican Institute in 21 regional centers not controlled by Russia. It involved 16.8 thousand urban residents aged 18 and older.
