Kharkiv City Council extends tax exemptions for businessesDeputies of the Kharkiv City Council extended tax exemptions for individuals, legal entities and entrepreneurs at an extraordinary session on 30 April.
The decision extends the exemption from local taxes and fees until 30 September 2025.
"We are prolonging the exemptions so that Kharkiv enterprises have working capital. Businesses should stay in the city, create jobs and be confident that they will continue to operate. And we have to help them in this. This is effective support from our side," said Mayor Igor Terekhov.
As a reminder, starting from 1 April 2024, the city council cancelled the tax liability for individuals, legal entities and entrepreneurs after the calculation of rent for communal land plots. The land tax rate for plots owned by individuals and legal entities is 0% of their normative monetary value.
In addition, the tax rate for immovable property (other than land owned by legal entities) was set at 0%. In addition, single tax payers of the 4th group were granted a 100% reduction in tax liabilities.
