More than four thousand entrepreneurs have started businesses in Kharkiv since the beginning of the year
In January-April 2024, 4204 individual entrepreneurs expressed a desire to start their own business and officially registered their business in Kharkiv.
According to the Head Office of the State Tax Service in the Kharkiv Region, during the same period, 293 individual entrepreneurs (mostly from the de-occupied territories) chose Kharkiv as a new location for their business and changed their tax address.
At the same time, 3,306 individual entrepreneurs ceased operations in January-April, and 289 individual entrepreneurs moved their businesses out of Kharkiv and changed their tax address to another region or territorial community. As of 1 May, the number of individual entrepreneurs in Kharkiv was almost 119,000.
The Department of Administrative Services and Consumer Market stressed that the City authorities always support Kharkiv's entrepreneurs and try to accumulate all possible resources to bring business back to the City.
