Funds provided in Kharkiv for free travel and shelter arrangements

According to the Department of Budget and Finance, this is due to the inclusion of a loan for the purchase of electric buses in the expenditure side of the budget and the provision of intergovernmental transfers to Kharkiv. In particular, the city will receive UAH 92.9 million to create safe conditions in healthcare facilities and UAH 171.1 million to pay compensation for the purchase of housing for the families of defenders. 

In addition, Kharkiv increased spending on:

- payment of salaries to employees of housing and communal services - by UAH 271.4 million

- providing further free travel in passenger transport - by UAH 258.8 million;

- construction of protective structures in healthcare facilities - by UAH 39.8 million;

- emergency repair works in multi-storey residential buildings - by UAH 30 million;

- providing assistance to military units and special bodies with law enforcement functions - by UAH 30.3 million.
